Stapelia Variegata, also known as the Starfish Flower or Carrion Flower, is a unique and fascinating succulent native to South Africa.

Key Characteristics:

• Starfish-Shaped Blooms: The most striking feature of this succulent is its large, intricate, starfish-shaped flowers. These blooms are typically yellow or cream-colored with maroon markings and spots, creating a visually captivating and slightly macabre aesthetic.
• Four-Angled Stems: The plant features upright, four-angled stems that are typically green but can turn reddish-purple with sun exposure. These stems are fleshy and store water, allowing the plant to thrive in arid environments.
• Low-Growing Habit: Stapelia Variegata typically grows to a height of 4-8 inches, making it a great choice for rock gardens, containers, or as a ground cover.

Ideal Growing Conditions:

• Sunlight: Thrives in full sun to partial shade. In the intense Sri Lankan sun, providing some afternoon shade can be beneficial.
