Sedum Furfuraceum - Dusty Stonecrop

Growth Habit: Sedum furfuraceum, commonly known as Dusty Stonecrop, is a low-growing succulent with sprawling stems that form dense mats or ground covers. The stems are covered in tiny, fleshy, green leaves that give the plant a bushy appearance.

Flowers: Dusty Stonecrop produces clusters of small, star-shaped flowers in shades of yellow or white. These blooms typically appear in late spring to early summer and add a delicate charm to the plant.

Uses: Due to its low-growing and spreading habit, Sedum furfuraceum is often used as a ground cover in rock gardens, succulent gardens, or as a trailing element in containers and hanging baskets. It is also suitable for use in green roofs and xeriscaping projects due to its drought tolerance.

Introduction: Native to Mexico and Central America, Sedum furfuraceum is well adapted to arid and semi-arid climates. It thrives in well-draining soil and full sun to partial shade conditions. This succulent is easy to grow and requires minimal maintenance once established.
