Sedum brevifolium, commonly known as "Sedum Brevifolium" or "Short-Leaved Stonecrop," is a small succulent plant that belongs to the Sedum genus.Sedum brevifolium is a low-growing, mat-forming succulent with small, rounded, or ovate leaves. The leaves are notable for their pale blue-green coloration and often have a powdery or chalky texture on the surface.
Sedum brevifolium a popular choice for rock gardens, containers, and other ornamental plantings. This plant typically grows to a height of about 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 cm) and spreads to form a mat that can cover a larger area.
This is a really dainty little sedum and makes a great filler or groundcover. Sedum are often referred to as stonecrops because of their ability to grow just about anywhere. Very hardy, looks great in gardens, rockeries or containers. I prefer to grow them in a sunny but partly shaded position.
