Rhipsalis pilocarpa, commonly known as Hairy Stemmed Rhipsalis or Hairy-fruited Rhipsalis, is an intriguing epiphytic cactus native to parts of South America, including Brazil.Rhipsalis pilocarpa is recognized for its slender, cylindrical stems that trail or hang gracefully.which is typically spring and early summer, Rhipsalis pilocarpa may produce small, star-shaped flowers that are typically white or creamy in color.
This epiphytic cactus has a pendulous or trailing growth habit, making it an excellent choice for hanging containers or pots.Rhipsalis pilocarpa prefers bright, indirect sunlight.This cactus is relatively low-maintenance.
Rhipsalis is an epiphytic cactus which means it grows in tree canopies. This one has semi hairy stems that are segmented and a mauvy/ pink colour merging with the grey/green. Perfect for hanging pots. As long as it gets mottled light or early morning sun it should thrive.
