Plectranthus caninus compact is a fast growing, dense, carpet forming succulent with lavender like flowers. They appear from spring through to autumn. Ideal for perennial borders, shrubberies and cottage gardens.
Plant in well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. Keep moist during dry weather. Plectranthus tomentosa is also called mentholatum plant because of the aroma it gives off when brushed. It has fuzzy gray-green leaves and bears lavender-purple flowers. It can grow up to 30 inches tall and 24 inches wide, sometimes becoming rather woody at the base of its stems. Makes a perfect addition to any succulent garden, softens other plants.
