Growing Mangave ‘Purple People Eater’

Sun & Position

Place the plant in a bright, sunny position. Good light helps maintain its compact shape and can bring out stronger purple colouring.

When moving a plant from a sheltered position into stronger sunlight, gradually increase its exposure.

Watering

Allow the growing medium to dry between waterings.

During hot, active growth, water thoroughly when needed, then allow excess water to drain away. Reduce watering during cooler or wetter periods.
