Kalanchoe thyrsiflora 'Bronze Sculpture', also known as the Paddle Plant or Flapjack Plant, is a captivating succulent native to South Africa. This cultivar is highly prized for its large, flat, round leaves that boast a mesmerizing bronze-red hue, creating a dramatic and sculptural effect in any setting.

Appearance:

• Leaves: Large, paddle-shaped leaves arranged in a compact rosette. The leaves display a stunning bronze or reddish-brown color, often with a subtle powdery coating that adds to their allure. The leaf margins may be tinged with green or yellow, particularly when grown in lower light conditions.

• Size: This Kalanchoe can grow up to 12-18 inches tall and wide, making it suitable for containers or as a statement piece in a succulent garden.

• Flowers: In the spring or summer, mature plants may produce tall, erect flower stalks with clusters of small, bell-shaped, yellow flowers. However, flowering is not a common occurrence indoors.

Growth Habits and Care:

• Sunlight: Thrives in full sun to partial shade. Ample sunlight exposure intensifies the bronze coloration of the leaves.

• Soil: Requires well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix.

• Watering: Water thoroughly when the soil is dry, allowing it to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.

• Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures but can tolerate cool temperatures if kept dry.

• Maintenance: Minimal maintenance required.
