Kalanchoe Beharensis “Fang” 130mm

Kalanchoe beharensis 'Fang' is a unique and sculptural succulent known for its bold, dramatic foliage and unusual texture. This variety features large, triangular, velvety leaves that are a soft silver-green and covered in fine hairs. What truly sets 'Fang' apart are the small, tooth-like projections (or “fangs”) found on the undersides of the leaves, giving it an exotic, almost prehistoric appearance.

Characteristics:

• Bold, upright succulent with thick, fuzzy leaves

• Silver-green foliage with distinctive “fangs” on the leaf undersides

• Can grow into a small shrub up to 90–120 cm tall in ideal conditions

• Striking architectural plant ideal for containers or focal points in xeriscapes

• May produce small tubular flowers in clusters, although it's mainly grown for its foliage

Care Tips:

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered sun; can tolerate some direct morning light

• Watering: Water deeply but infrequently; allow soil to dry out completely between waterings

• Soil: Requires well-draining soil, such as cactus or succulent mix

• Temperature: Protect from frost; prefers warm, dry conditions

• Fertiliser: Feed with a diluted succulent fertiliser during the growing season (spring and summer)

• Propagation: Can be propagated from leaf cuttings or stem cuttings
