Jatropha podagrica Yellow, commonly called Buddha’s Belly plant, is a unique caudex species known for its swollen trunk and bright floral display. It suits warm indoor or sheltered outdoor spaces.

This plant develops a thickened, bottle-shaped base that stores water, with large lobed leaves emerging from long stems. It produces clusters of small yellow flowers under suitable conditions.

It is often chosen for its unusual trunk structure and ornamental flowering habit.
