Euphorbia trigona 'Rubra', commonly referred to as the Royal Red African Milk Tree, is a captivating succulent renowned for its vibrant, deep red foliage and striking columnar growth habit.

Appearance:

• Stems/Branches: This plant boasts upright, triangular stems that branch out in a candelabra-like fashion, creating a dense and impressive structure. The stems showcase a rich, deep red hue that intensifies with exposure to sunlight, making a bold statement in any setting.

• Leaves: Small, teardrop-shaped leaves emerge along the stem ridges but are typically short-lived, adding a touch of green before shedding.  

• Size: Indoors, this Euphorbia can reach heights of several feet, and in ideal outdoor conditions, it can grow even taller.

Growth Habits and Care:

• Sunlight: Thrives in bright, indirect light or partial sun. Ample sunlight enhances the vibrant red coloration.

• Soil: Requires well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix.

• Watering: Drought-tolerant once established; water moderately during the growing season, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly in winter.

• Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures but can tolerate brief periods of cool temperatures if kept dry.

• Maintenance: Minimal maintenance required.
