Euphorbia submammillaris f. pfersdorfii, often simply called Euphorbia pfersdorfii, is a unique and rare succulent known for its compact, cushion-like growth and fascinating appearance.

Key Characteristics:

  • Miniature Stems: This Euphorbia boasts an abundance of tiny, clavate (club-shaped) stems, typically measuring between 2-5mm in diameter and 5-45mm tall. These stems are densely packed, creating a charming, pillow-like form.

  • Five Ribs: Each stem has five distinct ribs adorned with tooth-like tubercles, adding texture and interest to its appearance.

  • Color Transformation: While typically bright green, the stems can transform into a captivating purple hue when exposed to intense sunlight or dry, cold conditions.

  • Slow Growth: Euphorbia pfersdorfii is a slow-growing succulent, making it an ideal choice for container gardening or small spaces.

Care Tips:

  • Light: Provide ample sunlight, preferably bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun during the hottest hours of the day to prevent scorching.

  • Watering: Water moderately during the growing season, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce watering frequency during winter dormancy.

  • Temperature: Prefers moderate temperatures and should be protected from frost.

  • Soil: Plant in well-draining soil mix designed for succulents and cacti.

This Plant comes in a 130mm diameter container and the plant you see is the plant you get. The plant will be shipped bare rooted.
