Euphorbia Flanaganii

Euphorbia flanaganii, commonly referred to as the Green Medusa's Head or just Medusa's Head, is a captivating succulent native to South Africa. It's instantly recognizable and sought-after by plant enthusiasts for its unique, serpentine growth habit and intriguing, textured appearance.

Appearance:

• Stems: The plant features a central, rounded caudex (swollen stem base) from which numerous, slender, snake-like branches emerge and trail outwards. These branches are typically green, sometimes with reddish or purplish tinges, and are covered in tiny, warty bumps.

• Leaves: Small, rudimentary leaves may appear on new growth but quickly fall off, leaving the branches bare and adding to the Medusa-like impression.

• Flowers: In the spring or summer, it may produce small, yellowish-green flowers at the tips of the branches, though blooming is not the main attraction of this plant.

Growth Habits and Care:

• Sunlight: Thrives in bright, indirect light or partial shade.

• Soil: Requires well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix.

• Watering: Drought-tolerant once established, water moderately during the growing season, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
