Echeveria Topsy Turvy

Echeveria 'Topsy Turvy' is a unique and visually striking succulent plant known for its distinctive rosette shape and unusual leaf orientation. It is a popular cultivar that adds a touch of whimsy and charm to any succulent collection or garden.

The leaves of 'Topsy Turvy' are typically thick and fleshy, with a powdery coating known as pruinose. The color of the leaves can vary but often ranges from blue-green to gray-green or even silvery-gray. The edges of the leaves may have a reddish or pinkish tint, adding a touch of color contrast.

Echeveria 'Topsy Turvy' forms compact rosettes that can reach a diameter of 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 centimeters). It is a relatively slow-growing succulent and can develop offsets or "pups" around the base of the main rosette, allowing for propagation and the formation of larger clumps over time.

This cultivar is relatively low-maintenance and can thrive in a variety of growing conditions. It prefers well-draining soil.Echeveria 'Topsy Turvy' enjoys bright, indirect light and can tolerate some direct sunlight, although intense heat should be avoided.

This succulent features textured silver grey leaves that twist and curve inwards. It is also called Mexican hen and chicks. The rosettes will grow up to 25cm in diameter clumping to form a mass of interesting twisted leaves. Showy bright orange flowers form usually in late summer. Grows in full sun, ideal for rockeries and pots.
