Echeveria is a diverse genus of succulent plants native to Mexico and other parts of Central and South America. They are popular among succulent enthusiasts and collectors due to their rosette-shaped growth habit, fleshy leaves, and attractive colors. Echeveria plants come in various shapes, sizes, and colors, ranging from powdery gray, blue-green, purple, to vibrant shades of pink, orange, and red.
Echeveria plants are well-suited for container gardening, rock gardens, or as ornamental additions to succulent arrangements. They thrive in bright sunlight and require well-draining soil.
These plants typically have thick, succulent leaves that are arranged in a rosette pattern, giving them a compact and symmetrical appearance. The leaves are often fleshy and have a waxy or powdery coating, which helps them retain moisture.
This echeveria has dark green leaves with reddish edges. It is quite striking and like most echeveria will form rosettes and clump. Looks great in rockeries or containers, plant in a morning sun position.
