Echeveria albicans – Elegant Silver-Grey Rosette Succulent
Echeveria albicans, often known as the White Ghost Echeveria, is a beautifully refined succulent admired for its soft silvery-grey colouring and perfectly formed rosettes. Its calming tones and compact growth habit make it a favourite among succulent collectors and lovers of minimalist garden styling.
The thick, fleshy leaves are densely layered to form neat rosettes with a powdery white coating that gives the plant its signature frosted appearance. Spoon-shaped leaves with gently rounded tips create a soft, sculptural look that pairs beautifully with other succulents in pots, arrangements, rockeries, and decorative displays.
Sometimes referred to as Echeveria Whitening due to its pale colouring, this variety gradually forms attractive clusters of small plump rosettes as it matures, adding texture and fullness over time.

Care Guide
Light
Thrives in bright, indirect light or gentle morning sun. Avoid prolonged harsh afternoon sun in extremely hot conditions.
Watering
Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Reduce watering during cooler months.
Soil
Plant in a well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix to help prevent excess moisture around the roots.
Climate
Best suited to warm, dry climates. Protect from frost and extended cold conditions.
Maintenance
Remove dry lower leaves occasionally to maintain a tidy and healthy rosette appearance.
Good to Know
The powdery coating on the leaves acts as natural protection against sun exposure and moisture loss. Avoid touching the leaves excessively, as fingerprints can mark the delicate farina.
