Elephants foot is a deciduous climbing vine, and often grown indoors. Mainly grown for its unusual large woody caudex, in the wild it can grow quite large hence the name of Elephants Foot. It is a drought tolerant plant and prefers a dry summer. Growth period is from late summer through winter and into spring. Protect from frost, plant in well draining soil and do not over water.
