Dendrobium Burana Stripe

  • It's a hybrid, meaning it's a cross between two different Dendrobium orchid species. Specifically it is a cross of Den. Thanaid Stripes x Den. Chorthip Ohashi.
• Distinctive Flowers:
  • The flowers are the most notable feature, displaying a base color, often white or light pink, with prominent pink or reddish stripes.
  • This striping pattern can vary, giving each flower a unique appearance.
  • The lip of the flower also displays similar striping.
• Growth Habit:
  • Like many Dendrobium orchids, it exhibits a sympodial growth habit, meaning it grows horizontally with new shoots emerging from the base.

Care Requirements:

• Light:
  • Dendrobiums generally prefer bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight, especially during the hottest parts of the day, can scorch the leaves.
• Temperature:
  • They thrive in warm to intermediate temperatures.
• Watering:
  • Watering frequency depends on the growing medium and environmental conditions.
  • Allow the potting mix to dry slightly between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
• Humidity:
  • While they can tolerate average humidity, higher humidity is beneficial.
