Add a touch of whimsy and charm to your succulent collection with the delightful Mammillaria Bombycina, affectionately known as the Pincushion Cactus. This captivating cactus, native to Mexico, forms clusters of spherical stems adorned with a dense coat of soft, white spines, resembling a delicate pincushion.

Key Features:

  • Soft and Fuzzy: Its numerous tubercles are covered in a profusion of fine, white, hair-like spines, giving it a soft and fuzzy appearance.
  •  Charming Clusters: As it matures, this cactus forms dense clusters of small, globular stems, creating a visually appealing and textured display.
  • Vibrant Blooms: In spring and summer, enjoy a delightful spectacle of small, bell-shaped flowers, ranging in color from pale pink to deep magenta. These cheerful blooms create a beautiful contrast against the cactus's white spines.
  •  Low-Maintenance: This drought-tolerant cactus thrives in well-draining soil with minimal watering, making it perfect for beginners or those with busy lifestyles.
  •  Compact Size: Ideal for small spaces, windowsills, terrariums, or rock gardens.

Care Tips:

  • Light: Prefers bright, sunny locations, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Water: Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
  • Soil: Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix.

The succulent plant housed in the red pot comes in a 130mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.

Would love to make a comment, but I've not yet received them. They have been delayed getting here to WesternAustralia. I'm hoping, they will survive, but I have my doubts.
