Bridgesii Monstrose, often nicknamed the Penis Cactus due to its humorous, distinctly contorted growth, is a rare and sought-after cultivar in the cactus world. Native to Bolivia, this monstrose form of Trichocereus bridgesii develops irregular, columnar stems with a lumpy, sculptural appearance that makes each specimen truly unique. It’s a bold conversation piece and a collector’s favourite for its bizarre yet fascinating shape.

Care Tips:

Light: Requires full sun to partial shade. Indoors, place in a bright, sunny location.

Watering: Water sparingly. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce or stop watering in winter.

Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus mix with added perlite or pumice.

Temperature: Prefers warm, dry conditions. Protect from frost (minimum 10°C recommended).

Fertilizer: Feed during the growing season with a low-nitrogen cactus fertilizer once a month.

Propagation: Can be propagated from cuttings. Allow cut ends to callous before planting.
