How to Care for Agave ‘Quadricolor’
Light:
Give it plenty of bright light. Full sun to partial shade is suitable, with good sunlight helping maintain its colourful markings. Introduce young plants to strong sun gradually.
Water:
Allow the soil to dry completely before watering again. Water thoroughly when needed, then let excess water drain away. Reduce watering during cooler or wetter periods.
Soil:
A gritty, fast-draining cactus or succulent mix is ideal. Avoid heavy soils that remain wet around the roots.
Temperature:
It prefers warm, relatively dry conditions. Protect the plant from frost and prolonged freezing temperatures.
Fertiliser:
A light application of diluted succulent fertiliser during active growth is usually sufficient.
