Agave Nickelsiae

Ideal in any Australian garden, this fabulous and symmetrical succulent has black-green leaves with the shiny surfaces and white margins, while having the terminal spine at the end of the rosette.

Key Features:

• Distinctive Aesthetics: Well, though not so large as some of his other works, this one is impressing in size, with sufficient amount of dark green leaves that seem black at times. It has serrated leaves with white margins and with the look of spines born on them, it becomes a spectacular adornment for any garden in Australia.

• Drought-Tolerant: This being a plant that originates from dry climates, it is ideal for low water use environments, desert gardens, and Aussie small space/intensive gardens.

• Compact Growth: It grows up to 30cm in height and about the same in width and it is suitable for rock gardening, pots or used alone.

Thriving with Ease:

• Light: Nickelsiae is grown in different light conditions though it grows optimally in full sun to light shaded areas. To realise the best growth and brilliant hue of the leaves, enhance the number of daylight hours in the Australian garden.

• Water: Requires minimal watering. Also, adjust the water frequently, making sure it dries before it is water again especially during the cold season to avoid root rot.
