Care Guide

Light

Grow your Snake Plant in bright, indirect light for the best growth, although it also tolerates lower light conditions. If moving outdoors, gradually introduce the plant to direct sunlight to help prevent leaf scorch.

Watering

Allow the potting mix to dry completely between waterings. Like most succulents, Sansevieria Zeylanica prefers drier conditions and should never sit in water.

Soil

Use a premium free-draining cactus or succulent potting mix.

Temperature

Best suited to warm conditions and should be protected from frost. Excellent as an indoor plant throughout Australia.

Fertiliser

Feed lightly during spring and summer using a balanced liquid fertiliser diluted to half strength.
