Pothos Marble Queen is prized for its decorative foliage and versatility. The heavily variegated leaves brighten indoor spaces and pair beautifully with a wide range of houseplants. Its trailing vines can be allowed to cascade naturally from shelves and hanging pots or trained to climb a moss pole for a more vertical display.

Compared to greener Pothos varieties, Marble Queen may grow slightly slower due to its higher variegation, but its stunning foliage more than rewards the patience. It is a practical choice for homes, apartments, and offices where a low-maintenance indoor plant is desired.

Want your succulent with a pot?

This plant has been grown in a 130 mm nursery pot, so that size is a useful guide when selecting a decorative pot for home. We usually ship plants in their nursery pots where appropriate to help minimise stress during transport.

Care Guide

Light

Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain strong variegation. It can tolerate lower light conditions, although the cream colouring may become less pronounced over time.

Watering

Allow the top few centimetres of potting mix to dry before watering. Water thoroughly and ensure excess moisture can drain away freely.

Soil

Use a quality indoor plant mix with good drainage. A blend containing perlite or orchid bark can help improve airflow around the roots.

Temperature

Thrives in typical indoor temperatures and should be protected from frost and cold drafts.

Humidity

Adapts well to average household humidity but appreciates slightly higher humidity where available.

Fertiliser

Feed during the active growing season with a balanced indoor plant fertiliser according to label directions.

Good to Know

Marble Queen can be grown as either a trailing or climbing plant. Providing a support pole may encourage larger foliage as the plant matures. Brighter positions generally help maintain the cream and green variegation.

FAQ

Is Pothos Marble Queen suitable for beginners?

Yes. It is widely regarded as one of the easiest indoor plants to grow and maintain.

Why is my Marble Queen becoming greener?

Lower light conditions can reduce variegation. Moving the plant to a brighter position with indirect light may help maintain its marbled appearance.

Can it be grown in a hanging basket?

Yes. Its naturally trailing growth habit makes it an excellent choice for hanging baskets and elevated displays.
