Parodia magnifica is a well known cactus species with a rounded shape and blue green colouring. Its evenly spaced golden spines create a striking contrast across the surface.

Description

The plant forms a globe shaped cactus body with clear vertical ribs. Each rib supports clusters of fine golden spines that give the plant a balanced appearance.

Mature plants may eventually produce bright yellow flowers near the crown during the growing season.
