Pachyphytum oviferum 'Moonstones,' often referred to simply as 'Moonstones,' is an enchanting succulent prized for its otherworldly appearance and captivating features. It belongs to the Crassulaceae family and is native to Mexico. This cultivar is a variant of the species Pachyphytum oviferum, commonly referred to as "Moonstones" or "Sugar Almond Plant."

Growing: 

  • The rosettes of 'Moonstones' can reach a diameter of around 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 centimeters) and often have a slightly flattened appearance.
  • Rosette forming succulent Grows to approx. 10 cm tall and possibly 30 cm wide.

Leaves:

  • It has whitish prostrate stems that bear pale blue plump rounded leaves.
  • Not to be confused with Pachyphytum glutinicaule which has more elongated leaves.
  • Prefers morning sun.

It thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers well-draining soil.This striking succulent is considered relatively low-maintenance, making it an excellent addition to succulent collections, rock gardens, or container arrangements.
