Monkey Tail Cactus, botanically known as Hildewintera colademononis, is a trailing cactus with long, soft, hair-covered stems. It’s well suited to hanging pots or elevated positions where its growth can cascade.

Description

This cactus produces long cylindrical stems covered in fine white hairs, giving it a soft, tail-like appearance. As it matures, the stems can grow quite long and trail downward, creating a striking display.

It is often chosen for its unusual texture and growth habit rather than compact form. While relatively hardy, it performs best when given consistent light and good drainage.
